Wolves roll around a lot if you're trying to flip everywhere, but that still doesn't stop them from standing around confusedly 60% of the time. Btw, how do you flip behind an enemy and do a Backbreaker? I can do an instant kill with the knife or sword, but whenever I try unarmed (other than actually...

Let me put it this way: he fights more like a Kenpo guy than a Taekwondo guy.Renegade_Turner wrote:No, there's not such an emphasis on hand techniques. There's two for the hand, and five that I can think of for the legs, so how does that work out?

One thing I'd certainly like to see in Lugaru 2 (among others - but I have difficulty in talking about them very much because I feel arrogant telling this to the game's creator :P) is some basic Judo throws, or some of the more brutal wrist- and arm-locks. Judo throws like Ogoshi and Ippon Seoinage ...

As far as I know, they mostly punish themselves with odd editors that only have a weak GUI and are simply designed to be able to change every variable. You should read about the development process of Marathon. A quote from the Marathon Scrapbook: Greg had to conquer Vulcan [their in-house map edito...

Bunny martial arts
This is basically just conversation, but it may serve as something of an inquiry to David, as he is hardly a stranger to the boards. Of course it's generally accepted that the martial arts in Lugaru are very realistic - at least, compared to most games. This is in reference both to the moves themsel...

I'm surprised no one's pointed out one of the simplest ways to kill a wolf, which is simply to crouch-kick them and stab them while they're on the ground (either with a knife or sword). You have to do it very quickly, but it's the kind of thing you can try a bunch of times. I beat Lugaru over a year...

I've thrown together a crappy map or two, but I can't seem to erase pathfinding points, and there also seems to be a limit to them, or SOMETHING I don't understand. In any case non of my enemies can climb my tower-type objects very well - not that they're particularly easy to climb anyhow. :P http:/...
