I think that pretty much sums it up, Tonjevic.Tonjevic wrote:I love observing people on this forum.
It's kind of like watching small children making massive assertions about the nature of the universe, with absolute conviction, and with absolute falsehood.
It's kind of like watching rats scurry through a maze, filled with frustration at every turn, but searching eternally for the cheese.
It's kind of like watching a scene full of anthropomorphic creatures dance burlesque and pose seductively, then observing the audience take it all too seriously.
There are some life lessons in there somewhere. I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that breasts are awesome.

Ahahaha, that's brilliant.

What I love is the fact that despite Lugaru 2/Overgrowth having been announced since.. What? 2005? There is always a new topic every month or so asking for animal sex in Overgrowth, no matter how many times the Dev. Team says "No, we're not going to do it."
Re: How to address sexuality in overgrowth (video)
Actually, I believe the Dev team's kept quite clear of these topics.
Prob'ly the best thing to do, too.

I haven't seen anyone ask for sex scenes in the games since I joined (which was just after the first alpha was released). The closest we came was Skofo and his unholy lust for rabbit scrotums. Oh, and there was Chainsaw Man with his "better then any other" idea.
As for this guy, he just wanted to show off that bloody soft drink add.

Which I simply found bloody hilarious.
Also, watching people argue about stuff that will never happen was funny too.

So this guy is up for burlesque houses in Overgrowth. Any takers?Tonjevic wrote:It's kind of like watching a scene full of anthropomorphic creatures dance burlesque and pose seductively, then observing the audience take it all too seriously.

However they will in Overgrowth because we are dealing with anthropomorphic rabbits. The same argument could be applied to breasts.
DISCLAIMER: I would rather not have top-heavy bunnies in OG.

Zhukov is right regardless of what the best thing for Overgrowth is. That argument doesn't really stand, Invertin. It's already been accepted that rabbits have mammary glands, which the human form of is breasts. However, the real factor is whether or not it would be sensible in terms of both artistic integrity and general popularity to include such things.
Sexuality in games is still seen as too racy a subject and, in a martial arts action game, it would appear rather tacked-on more than anything. For a bigger company it would be a bit more of an option but, as people have already more or less stated, for an indie company such as Wolfire they can't really afford to be sinking their own ship before it's left the harbour.

Conker's Fur Day. Take a hint. Nuff said. End of discussion. I'm kind of sick of people wanting sexual appeal in an action game starring anthropomorphic beings.

lol @ this guy not even contributing a valuable point and thinking it ends the discussion.
Re: How to address sexuality in overgrowth (video)
Unless the whole game is considered a point, it's still pretty vague. Better elaborate or use a better point. I never played Conker's Fur Day anyway.
Besides, why bother including that in the first place when players will still find a way to put them as a mod? Take Morrowind and Oblivion as an example.
