Re: Overgrowth Character Reference Guide
I've updated the Wiki version of this tutorial, it is available here: http://wiki.wolfire.com/index.php/Character_Models
It would be nice if we could move all of this type of information to the Wiki, which would allow us to unsticky these types of topics from the forums and just sticky a topic that links to a modding hub on the wiki instead.
Makes for a bit of a cleaner forum, and enables the supplied information to be more up to date and better since it becomes a collaborative effort.

Re: Overgrowth Character Reference Guide
I'm trying to recreate this tutorial and do have experience in blender, but can't seem to get this to work. Basically, all I did was replace the model itself then go through the process and so forth. Getting it as close as it can gives me a fatal error. Is applying textures and such crucial or can I skip that?
Edit:Tried unwrapping and applying a texture. Still no luck. Is it safe to attach my dump file here?

Dangit! I completely forgot where the dmp files are left. Where am I looking? I have OG through steam if it helps.

What model are you trying to get working? I can help you out if you like. I can't read dump files so it's not too helpful to me.CaptJack92a wrote:Ah! Thanks!

No specific model. This is purely a learning process for me.
