[Bug] Cannot save dialogue
[Bug] Cannot save dialogue
Every single time I save my dialogue, it saves as a blank .txt file; is this happening to anyone else?

Re: [Bug] Cannot save dialouge
the saving work perfect for me
you have to create a txt before opening and saving it again as mentioned in the a202 video

Never mind, I've realised what I was doing wrong.
BUT: THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.
Do NOT click on 'stop editing' before you save it; you have to have the edit text on your screen while you save it, otherwise it'll save a blank .txt file.

The "Save Dialogue" button is not really critical since the dialogue should also save as part of the level itself. If you save the level it should add the dialogue text to the "script params" of the dialogue object.

Yeah, but it's still important if you want to save the dialogue.David wrote:The "Save Dialogue" button is not really critical since the dialogue should also save as part of the level itself. If you save the level it should add the dialogue text to the "script params" of the dialogue object.

Re: [Bug] Cannot save dialouge
after a bit of editing, for some reason I crashed on one of the hotspots as i went through it (though it was working fine before and I was editing a different dialogue box) then when i re-enter the level the dialogue box that caused me to crash isn't triggering when i enter it's hotspot anymore. The base of it also disappeared but the two boxes that represent the two participants are still there... and The hotspot's icon appears over it O_oDavid wrote:The "Save Dialogue" button is not really critical since the dialogue should also save as part of the level itself.
